Parc régional montagne du diable
A four season destination, open year round, the Parc régional Montagne du Diable is a 100 km2 playground paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. Our park offers a wide range of activities. Extend your vacation by spending the night in a camp cabin in the Village des Bâtisseurs at the foot of the mountain or in a day shelter or in a log cabin at the summit.
Labelle is a natural choice for many sledders simply because of its beautiful scenery, pleasant trails, friendly and convenient accommodations. Depart from Labelle train station and follow the former railway line up to Mont-Laurier, passing by the Municipalité de La Macaza, Ville de Rivière-Rouge and along Lac Nominingue. Then enjoy the natural decor at the regional Park Kiamika and Lac Curières which is worth the slight detour, before going through La Macaza airport and returning to Labelle.
Parc régional Kiamika
Located less than 200 km from Montréal, Kiamika Regional Park is the perfect outdoor destination to get closer to nature! Covering an area of 184 km², the park contains a 60-sq. km body of water comprising a dozen lakes and some 40 islands and islets, including Grande île de la Perdrix Blanche and Petite île de la Perdrix.
The Reservoir is a vast inner sea covering more than 320 km2 (125 sq miles). In winter, local snowmobile clubs maintain an ice bridge spanning over 8 km (5 miles). The most noticeable thing about the reservoir is without a doubt the huge crevices formed following the tidal range which goes up to 12 metres (40 feet) during the fall and winter. Going with a guide is strongly recommended.
Located on the Versant Soleil of Mont-Tremblant The Casino can be reached by a free shuttle from Place des Voyageurs. Parking and valet parking are also free. Discover the delicious seafood and items from the grill of its restaurant Altitude and don’t miss its live musical performances on weekends.
Club pionnier des Laurentides | Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts
The first officially incorporated snowmobile club in the world was founded more than 50 years ago in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, a favorite destination for those who love the outdoors. The trails in this area are known for exceptional amounts of snow.
